Kari Koskinen

Researcher

I joined SASSE and Aalto University as a postdoctoral researcher in November 2019. Prior to this, I completed my PhD and worked as a fellow at the London School of Economics, conducting research on digital product innovation and platforms as well as looking at innovation practices in the global South. During and between my studies and work at academia, I have also had the opportunity to work in different roles in several IT companies, ranging from start-ups to multinationals and from operations to product development. What I find especially interesting in SASSE is that it also captures the perspective of non-focal actors in platform economies instead of only concentrating to the platform owners and the core functionalities of these platforms.
